Walnut balls with pomegranate and coriander

Vegan appetizer or Zakoeski, makes 40 small balls

100 gram cooked red kidney beans
50 gram roasted walnuts
1 teaspoon of smoked paprika powder
2 tablespoons of pomegranate syrup
1 garlic clove-crushed
1 bunch of coriander, finely chopped

Blender or hand-held blender

If the kidney beans are not already cooked, but from a tin or jar: rinse them well under running water.Mix the beans with the walnuts that have been roasted in a dry frying pan, paprika powder, pomegranate syrup, garlic, salt & pepper to taste, in the blender, to a smooth puree.
Roll the puree into small balls, then roll them in the coriander.Decorate them with pomegranate pips. Serve the balls as an appetizer or with drinks.

Fiona, I find the first part of this recipe a bit strange. “Indien de kidneybonen niet zelf gekookt zijn maar uit een blik “ etc.what do you mean here?Blast, I made a misake in the spelling of ‘BALLS”, put ‘BOLS”, so please change this if you can. S’ok, I have just changed it myself.
You made a mistake with the word ‘INDIEN”, have put INIDIEN instead.
